1966 – Establishment of Wolf Systembau
The foundation stone of the WOLF Group is laid by Johann Wolf when he sets up Wolf Systembau Gesellschaft m.b.H., Scharnstein. The first products are innovative reinforced concrete tanks and silos for farming that develop into a major success and a continuing important business line for us.

An expansion of the product range providing buildings for agriculture (machinery and general purpose halls, stalls, extension buildings, etc.) rounds off this provision.

1968 – first international steps
First activities beyond the borders of Austria with the establishment of a company in Munich. Reinforced concrete tanks and silos are now built in Germany from the new sales and planning base.

1974 – WOLF in France
A further international step in the setting up of a French subsidiary company with a production operation in Leutenheim.

1975 – prefabricated housing as a new business line
Start of prefabricated housing development and production in Scharnstein.

1980 – new location in Bavaria
The Munich based company moves to a new location following the acquisition of a Bavarian timber construction specialist company in Osterhofen, Lower Bavaria.

1986 – WOLF System goes Italy
WOLF System SRL is established in Freienfeld, Italy.

1987 – WOLF moves into Switzerland
Establishment of SYSTEM WOLF AG in Rüthi, Switzerland.

1989 – opening of markets in Hungary and the UK
Wolf System Epitoipari Kft. established in Kaposvár, Hungary, and WOLF SYSTEMS Ltd. in Coventry, England.

1991–1999 – years of continued expansion
Further locations are opened in the Czech Republic (WOLF SYSTEM spol. s r.o.), Poland (Wolf System sp. z o.o.), Slowakia (WOLF SYSTEMBAU spol. s r.o.), France (WOLF Connexion S.a.r.l.), Berlin, Russis (WOLF SYSTEM CIS), Tenerife (WOLF Canarias SLU) and Croatia (WOLF SYSTEM d.o.o.).

2003 and 2004 – development & extension of business
Development and extension of the prefabricated housing business in Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic and simultaneously the prefabricated housing and timber construction production in Scharnstein as also at the production locations in Poland and Hungary.

2005 – award winning success
WOLF receives the “Golden Cube” the most important German prefabricated housing prize.

2006 – 40th anniversary of the company
WOLF System celebrates 40 years of success – with the building of a new administration building and the “Competence Centre” in Scharnstein.
Establishing of WOLF System UAB in Siauliu, Lithuania.

2007 – WOLF now active in Latvia
Establishment of WOLF System SIA in Cesis, Latvia.
Erection of the new Building Client Studio and expansion of steel processing at WOLF System GmbH in Osterhofen, Germany. WOLF House receives the German Prefabricated Housing Prize the “Golden Cube”. Acquisition of the construction specialist company Ing. Lehner Landwirtschaftsbau GmbH & Co KG in Klagenfurt, Austria

2008 – continued expansion
Establishment of WOLF SYSTEM SRL in Arad, Romania.
Additional floor added and adaptation of the Wolf System GmbH administration building in Osterhofen, Germany.

2009
Laying of the foundation stone for an administration building with operational production for steel and timber processing in Dechino, Russia.

2010 – there’s always something happening at WOLF
Establishment of WOLF SISTEM d.o.o. in Orehova vas, Slovenia.
Establishment of Wolf System-Construcción Técnica S.L.U. in Barcelona, Spain.
